Linda,

In the Brief Eternal Silence was my fourth fully written manuscript. This was prior to me publishing and these three predecessors went the route of an agent in Pittsburgh. One sold, but due to publishing scheduling was never printed (you can imagine my disappointment).

Later, after writing In the Brief Eternal Silence, I was grateful that the other three never made the light of day (see my post about The Million Word Club).

Since beginning publishing in 2005, I haven't had the time to write. Fortunately, so many aspects of publishing involve creativity that I haven't felt starved for a creative outlet, although I do still miss the writing.

All the best,
Rebecca Melvin
