Double Edge Press, a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania publishing company is announcing the release of their newest title: Ceilidh’s Quest by Gail MacMillan.
Gail MacMillan is a New Brunswick, Canada native and a two time Dog Writer’s Association of America Maxwell Award winner for previous works. Ceilidh’s Quest is her fifteenth published book.
Ceilidh’s Quest is a heart-warming non-fiction story that introduces the reader to a little known but highly specialized breed of dog, the Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, uniquely developed in Nova Scotia, Canada.
Ceilidh comes into Gail MacMillan’s possession at the age of three and although she is devoted to her new family, her loyalties are still true for her previous owner. She will spend her entire life seeking him, the one that is ‘lost’.
Gail MacMillan’s award winning style of writing is evident as she easily moves from the hilarious to the heart-felt in this true-life portrayal of the adventures and mis-adventures of a brave little dog looking to make her little world complete.
